The Sony a6700 from Sony is a versatile and compact APS-C mirrorless camera with a combination of features as those of Sony FX30 Digital Cinema Camera. It's features include a Real-time Eye AF and Real-time Tracking capabilities, high-speed unstrained continuous shooting up to 11 fps both with AF/AE tracking, the latest 26.0MP back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS sensor, an LCD touchscreen, UHD 4K movie recording with full pixel readout and no pixel binning, instant time-lapse settings with framerate, recording, light, and interval customization, among others.

With the latest back-illuminated 26MP APS-C Exmor R CMOS sensor and BIONZ XR processor, this camera has been designed to be used by professionals as it gives higher resolution without sacrificing sensitivity. It is further enhanced by a wide expandable sensitivity range of expandable to ISO50-102400 for stills that allows the camera to excel in low-light performance with minimal noise and offers more than 14 stops of dynamic range.

The BIONZ XR image processor features an S&Q (Slow & Quick) Motion setting that further benefits videographers in capturing 10-bit UHD 4K videos at a variety of frame rates up to 120 fps, offering the flexibility to slow down or speed up the action as needed, and both e S-Log3 and S-Gamut3 for color grading flexibility. Further, creative Looks can be baked into the recorded footage to create a specific mood during recording and minimize the need for editing. Cine Gamma Curves provide more than 14 stops of dynamic range, allowing for increased post-production flexibility and seamless integration with video from other Sony Cinema Line cameras.

The sensor and processor brings a host of enhanced capabilities, with a wide-coverage 759 point phase-detection system that covers around 93% of the image area, and a 495-point contrast-detection system, both of which provide quick and precise focusing performance. This focusing system also enables Real-time Eye AF, which delivers improved accuracy, speed, and tracking performance of Eye AF, so the eyes of your subject are automatically detected. Furthermore, Real-time Tracking uses AI-based object recognition and processes color, subject distance (depth), and pattern (brightness) as spatial information to ensure that all subjects can be captured with accuracy. As a result, users can confidently use any lens, including adapted lenses, without experiencing blur caused by camera shake.

For still photography enthusiasts, the a6700 offers a wide range of color renderings and compression options to optimize image quality and storage management. Other autofocus features include focus bracketing in up to 299 images with sequentially-shifted focus points, focus accuracy in low light down to EV -3.0, focus breathing compensation, autofocus assist, focus mapping, and focus peaking during autofocus. A vari-angle 3.0" 1.03m-dot LCD touchscreen LCD monitor is also available and tilts up to an angle of 174° to benefit shooting from high and low working angles. The touchscreen design also allows for intuitive touch-to-focus control. For wireless remote control over the camera, or for just sharing imagery online, built-in Wi-Fi with NFC permits linking with a mobile device for intuitive wireless control. Additionally, its battery can be powered via an USB connection to a computer or mobile battery.
